Aetna Contract Dispute Resolved - October 1

Effective immediately, ALL Aetna products will be IN-NETWORK for ALL Covenant/Grace Providers and Hospitals. We are excited to announce that both Aetna and Covenant reached an Agreement. 

What does this mean to you:

  1. Aetna patients who received care from Covenant hospitals or Covenant/Grace physicians during the month of September 2022 will receive in-network benefits and claims will be processed at our previous rate prior to the termination.  According to Aetna, these claims will be reprocessed accordingly and could take a while to get cleaned up.
  2. Please note, it will take time for Aetna to update their systems so Covenant/Grace providers may appear out of network for several weeks; thus, creating some confusion during this transition.  However, all claims should be processed as in-network with no out-of-network member penalties. 
  3. ALL Covenant/Grace Providers are In-Network effective immediately!
