Mission Hospital Laguna Beach Visitor Policy

The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) no longer requires screening or testing of visitors in health care settings.

All visitors must be free of fever and cold/flu-like symptoms.

Visitors are required to wear a hospital-provided mask at all times, even when in a patient room. Visitors will receive one mask warning. Further violations will result in termination of visitation for that day.

Visitation hours are 8 a.m.–8 p.m. on medical/surgical units and 24/7 in intensive care units except during shift change (7-8:30 a.m. and 7-8:30 p.m.).

Nursing leaders reserve the right to limit the number of visitors and duration of visits to ensure patient safety.

Emergency Department patients may have one visitor with them in the waiting and exam rooms.
