COVID-19 Vaccine Updates

Many of our patients are interested in receiving a COVID-19 vaccine, and we recommend getting it when it’s available to you. Vaccinations are happening in phases, with those at highest risk being vaccinated first. Not sure what phase you're in? Check your vaccine eligibility here

At this time Swedish is vaccinating only those individuals who fall within Phase 1a and Phase 1b / tier 1 of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) vaccination priority scale. Both the Washington State Department of Health and CDC require Swedish and other medical facilities across the nation to follow this phased vaccination approach.

Phase 1a

  • Workers in health care settings
  • High-risk first responders

Phase 1b / tier 1

  • 65 years and older
  • 50 years and older who reside in a multigenerational household (home where individuals from 2 or more generations reside such as an elder and a grandchild).

Once we begin vaccinating those in additional phases, we will notify you through MyChart as well as post information on swedish.org/covid-19.
