Visitor Policy

To ensure a safe environment for our patients and community, and in accordance with guidance from the Washington State Department of Health, Swedish does not allow routine visitors in our facilities at this time due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Patients admitted to the hospital for inpatient care may have one patient supporter. We are unable to accommodate supporters for patients receiving outpatient care.

A patient supporter is someone who accompanies a patient for inpatient care to aid in their recovery and healing. Patients who require hospitalization are permitted one patient supporter. For more information on patient supporter guidelines, please read our comprehensive visitation policy.

All patients and supporters entering Swedish facilities are required to:

· Arrive through a designated entry control point

· Wear a mask at all times

· Practice physical distancing (at least six feet)

· Have temperature taken upon entry

· Wash or sanitize hands

For more information about department-specific visitor guidelines, please read our full visitor policy. If you have questions, please contact your care team.
